While doing freelance work back in the 90s and just after college, one of my college friends, Fred, who at the time owned an Internet solution company (Web In Motion), introduced me to Stacey and DITA (The Durham IT Association) this was essentially a meetup before meetup existed, a place for like minded, entreprenural geeks to get together and talk about geeky tings, network and socialize.
